trials to bring a drug to market. Pharmaceutical companies running clinical trials don’t have the
ability or incentive to test the efficacy of a treatment beyond the scope of a drug’s intended use
case.
These drugs may have possible applications in treating other diseases. They may
also have negative life-altering long-term outcomes. Without further research we can’t know.
